Use of technology in education

Right now we can use any facilities and technology in education to make our study will more easily.

Teachers have had to undergo a sea change in updating their online skills so as to reach their students.
Online social networking sites such as Orkut, Facebook keep students engaged for hours. Or it is games online. So, it is only imperative that we use online tools and gadgets to teach and get them interested in aiming for higher grades.
Distance education is easier these days as laptops and internet connectivity have given the Universities faster means of reaching more students in real time.

Games to educate

Many students spent a lot time just to play game online. They can feel tired because they playing all day and they will not have time anymore to study. Actually, not all game just offers the satisfied but some of them have the game to stimulate their brain. For example puzzle. Play puzzle can help student to think and play and it will make student not to fast to feel bore. Another takes children through the stages of building a racing car: "They learn about maths and physics through working out petrol consumption or friction on tyres." He concedes that independent evaluation of serious games in education is very much work in progress. But then so are the games themselves. Even students developing games spend most of their time coding and learning how to do complicated maths. For that they have to read some difficult maths books. Games give you a vehicle to learn something new, but that often comes from a background of reading and liaising with your peers."

Media education

We live in technology age. We can use many technologies as media education. We can use technology not just for entertainment but it can be the tools to learn. Media education is focus on how entertainment media such as songs, cartoons, comics and theater can be used to transmit information that can result in our knowledge Entertainment-education is anchored on the idea that individuals learn behavior by observing role models, particularly in the mass media. Imitation and influence are the expected outcomes of interventions.
Entertainment-education draws on the fact that populations around the world are widely exposed to entertainment media content. The heavy consumption of media messages suggests that the media, more than any other tool, can effectively persuade how people think, feel, and behave. Most entertainment programs, however, tend to dramatize anti-social messages such as aggression, violence, and sexual promiscuity. But, entertainment programs can be redirected to communicate positive messages that can help people solve their problems, instead of glorifying antisocial themes (Singhal and Rogers, 1999).

Museums

In our world today, there is a wide variety of museums where people can travel to and see differently interesting things. Some people state that visiting museums is only a form of recreation; others disagree, arguing that museums play a role in education. In fact, each of these arguments has its own validity.

Firstly, museums such as art and music can offer people with a wide range of entertainment activities. For example, they often organise traditional music events performed by local or other famous artists that people can attend to and enjoy to some extent. Another point is that many visitors nowadays may choose to come to museums just for pleasure or as one of the activities that they take part in their holiday trips. This, therefore, makes museums a place to entertain in people leisure time.

On the other hand, the establishment of a particular museum like history, science, or oceanography is usually attached to educational purposes. As can be seen, school and university students and teachers are always the guests of museums because the places are where they can discover and obtain a large amount of information related to their studies and teaching. In addition, there are a number of seminars and conferences held at museums that are informative and necessary for scholars and experts in their fields of research. In this way, museums prove the supporting role in human education.

In conclusion, visiting museums is clearly seen as both means of entertainment and education. However, from my viewpoint, people should perceive the value of museums in enhancing their own knowledge about the world they live in.

How to Make Your Studying Fun

1. Music,
Turning on your favorite tune while studying can help prevent you from falling asleep, make sure that your music is not loud. I recommend you listening to inspiring artist with a message in the music. Listening to music like this can help you feel more motivated to study for your future
2. Study area,
Make sure where ever you decide to study has very good lighting and a comfy area.
Being un-comfy is an easy way to get distracted during studying and may lead to completely stopping.
3. Get a friend,
Studying with a friend can also make things funnier. Having a friend over can mean you can share notes and tips. This tip can lead to better grades especially if you and your friend motivate each other.
4. Study with your pet,
If you can not bring a friend over at the time you can study with your pet! Pet some times can be very good motivators. You can read out loud to them, talk to them, etc.
5. Go shopping,
You should go shopping for study materials every month. Having cool printed pencils and other things around you when you study can make it feel more fun to study. Having the same boring yellow pencil can be depressing, so make sure you change up with patterns and pictures on your pencil.
